Open Text a Contract Killer
Open Text is getting defensive about its enterprise content management system. The company has descended on this week's 45th annual Aerospace and Defense Contract Management Conference in Garden Grove, Calif., and is using the show to announce the latest version of Livelink ECM - Contract Lifecycle Management. The solution focuses on tools for contract creation, negotiation, contract fulfillment, and renewals. It's designed to help businesses reduce operating costs and enable compliance with internal and external policies and regulations. Open Text calls itself the largest independent provider of enterprise content management software and solutions. Lately it's been focusing more on compliance, eDiscovery, and archiving matters. With ongoing legal and regulatory concerns, and new internal governance rules, companies now place a greater focus on the management of contracts.

Page Six
Recent studies concluding women prefer less of the rugged, truck-driving, tool-wielding tough guy, and more of the sensitive, well-groomed, 'metro-male', has incited some interesting discussion in the Page Six inbox. Apparently, in Europe, having 'full lips and feminine features' is the new way for a lad to land himself a lady. But in Calgary? Women in these parts still seem to stand firmly against the new-age metro-man. Admittedly, ourselves included. We weighed in with one reader in particular -- a self-proclaimed 'Macho Man' -- seemingly conflicted by his own penchant for pink button-up shirts, high thread-count Egyptian cotton sheets, and his desire for an arsenal of male beauty products. PAGE SIX: FULL LIPS AND FEMININE FEATURES? DOES THIS VERSION OF THE STRAIGHT MAN ALSO WEAR TUBE TOPS, NAIL POLISH AND CONCEALER TO HIDE DARK CIRCLES? MACHO MAN: YOU KNOW.
